Stygian

A grizzled old gunslinger, hands covered in blood, looks over his shoulder; he senses the pursuit of someone hunting him, and that hunt brings back old memories that have haunted the gunman for years. Alone and haunted by traumatic visions of his past, the old man suffers from exposure, thirst and a growing infection. When he can no longer go on, he must face down his pursuer and the greatest mistake of his life in a confrontation decades in the making. The woman who's son he'd accidentally killed decades ago, who has spent years searching for him has him dead to rights. But she cannot pull the trigger - the broken down old man before her is not the drunken monster who murdered her son. Unable to live with this decision, the old man kills himself. Stygian is a powerful story of sin, guilt, and the price of justice.
